Swatten & Bellsolar Strategic Cooperation Agreement Signing Ceremony

News

At the SNEC 2025 exhibition, Swatten officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement with BellSolar, a milestone move aimed at bringing utility-grade reliability in energy storage to the beautiful island of Réunion.

Located in the Indian Ocean, Réunion is a French overseas territory with a unique energy challenge. The island faces high electricity costs and depends largely on imported fossil fuels to power its grid. At the same time, it enjoys abundant sunlight and has long embraced renewable energy development as a key strategy for sustainability and energy independence.

With limited grid capacity and increasing pressure to reduce carbon emissions, the demand for smart, distributed energy storage systems is growing rapidly, particularly in residential and small C&I. This is where Swatten and BellSolar see a shared opportunity.

BellSolar, with its established local channels and deep understanding of the Réunion market, is an ideal partner. Together, we plan to deliver 400 sets of inverters and batteries in the first year of cooperation, bringing reliable, flexible, and intelligent energy to homes and businesses across the island.

At the signing ceremony, we were honored to welcome CEO of BellSolar, and Mr. Fan Yang, Vice President of Swatten. Both leaders spoke of their shared vision: not just about product delivery, but also about long-term, sustainable partnerships, localized support, and the belief that everyone deserves the benefits of cleaner, smarter energy.

For Swatten, this collaboration is more than a commercial agreement. It's a meaningful step toward empowering island communities with solutions that are tailored, responsive, and future-ready.

As we celebrate this first milestone, we also look ahead to deeper cooperation, broader deployment, and a collective commitment to building a better energy future for Réunion.

Smarter power. Better life. That's the Swatten way.
