Distributed synchronous condensers have played a key role in enhancing short-circuit ratios and improving voltage support in renewable power plants. However, their long production cycles and high costs limit scalability. Grid-forming SVG products, paired with large-capacity DC capacitors, offer short-term overload capacity exceeding 3 times rated power, "zero-delay" active voltage support, and configurable low-frequency and sub-synchronous oscillation suppression functions.
