At the end of August 2023, the Department of Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) in the UK revealed cumulative solar capacity data up to July, indicating that the UK has installed a remarkable 15,292.8 megawatts of solar systems. From January to July 2023, the UK added 634.8 megawatts of solar capacity, showing substantial growth compared to 315.5 megawatts during the same period in 2022.

With the increasing global emphasis on reducing carbon emissions and transitioning to clean energy, the Czech Republic, one of Europe's developed nations, has enacted legislation to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. By 2030, they aim to reduce carbon emissions by 55%, allocating 1% of their GDP (500 million CZK) towards this objective.

ZeroEmission Mediterranean 2023, the International Trade Fair & Exhibition, concluded with resounding success at the Rome Exhibition Centre in Italy from October 10th to 12th. The event's success can be credited to over 240 exhibiting companies, 225 speakers, and its twenty-year commitment to sustainability, leading energy transition and climate change mitigation.
